Yeah, looks like a set-up, eh? We were doing family picturs, and Marlin's brother was ahead of us - a just got the candid shot. What I thought was funnier was the expression on all the kids faces (only easy to see when you click to enlarge) and Marlin and I don't have much of a reaction at all. Oh well - after five....what can I say?
Awesome picture, I saw it before at a glance. So cute! You guys are awesome. I am so thankful for your ambition to serve God with all your heart! You inspire me!
Hi. I found you after reading Rhonda's blog. I'm an old Impact North-er. :o) My maiden name was Showalter if that helps you out any. We lived at Sandy Lake for 5 years. I loved those years in the bush. You're blog is wonderful! I love to write too. Mom told me the other day I should write a devotional book. I said I would, someday when I'm not making Valentines Day cookies with small children or not teaching school. And we think 5 is the greatest number. :o) Have a great sun-kissed day!!
I am married to Marlin almost 20 years and still get a buzz when I pass him unexpectedly on the road. :) We have 5 kids ages 16 to 3, and believe me, life swirls around our house. In the middle of all the activity, I find that writing helps me really figure out what is important to me. Ever since elementary essay days, I feel exhilarated when I hold a pen. I used to joke that I can only think with a pen in my hand. And that is mostly true. So welcome to my blog, to my story, to my heart, and enjoy the journey with me. I welcome your thoughts and comments anytime.

So, who pushed her?? :-) Just kidding. But how did you capture it like that?

Thanks for inviting me to your blog Les. I look forward to "hearing" your heart through your writing.
I thought about the kids' vs. parents' reactions on the picture too. =) What can I say...been there done that. =)
